New Delhi, Gold prices hit a record high of Rs 94,150 per 10 grams. A surge of Rs 2000 has been seen to record an all-time high of Rs 94,150 for 99.9 percent purity of the precious metal.
According to the analysts, the demand comes as an alternative investment with equity markets sliding in the overseas markets.
In the last three months alone, the gold price has jumped 18.6 percent, or Rs 14,760 from Rs 79,390 per 10 grams on January 1, 2025.
Whereas, Silver prices depreciated Rs 500 to Rs 1,02,500 per kg on April 1, 2025.
